I love the plan to make Culver one lane each way with diagonal parking. Obviously, a traffic engineer would have to be consulted to see if this really is feasible. I have worked in PDR for 2+ years. Cars literally SPEED through town, it's ludicrous and it's dangerous! For MOST of those people driving through it's just another road on their commute. They don't even SLOW DOWN ENOUGH to SEE the stores and businesses! The speed limit is 30. Some cars go 45 and 50. It's outrageous! It would be so great to have the road more 'business friendly' where it looked inviting to stop, park, and walk around. Right now it is not conducive to that at all. PDR is a great small town which could be made so much more 'user friendly' by adding more parking right along Culver (diagonal?), strict enforcement of the speed limit, etc. When you force cars to slow down, some who prefer to speed will choose alternate routes, and it will only help the town to draw more business by making it more user friendly. Thank you.
